Mini-keg Q

I kegged my version of Orfy's Mild Mannered Ale in mini-kegs last week and am curious how it's progressing- so I think I need a taste... But, say it's not quite right yet, how well/long would it last before going bad (or, would it go bad?) if I hooked up the tap with a co2 cartridge attached? I figure it would be fine for a while, but I don't want to tap it too early if it's going to die on me. Any advice if appreciated, thanks!

As long as there is CO2 on the keg, you don't have to worry.
