Thinking of making a new red. Carribe-Style.... Planning this to be moderately low hopped for the style. 1.052 with 24 IBU and SRM of 12. Using Williamete to try to make this more of an english influenced red
Here is what I am thinking. Brew pretty much as normal then....
I will use a secondary to add wood chips soaked in rum, (rum that was soaked with coconut) and adding 33 oz of coconut water to boost ABV. I want the coconut to be rather faint but blend well with roasted barley.
This is the basic recipe. Thoughts???
