Hey everyone, I had a Bridgeport Hop Czar the other day and thought it was pretty damn good :mug: Really hoppy yet balanced, I'm not a huge ipa fan as I usually prefer stouts or wheat beers so I don't have a large base for comparison. Has anyone tried this and is there a recipe for something similar that you could point me to?

Thanks,

Well, I happen to be drinking one right now. It is a pretty good IPA and a bit hoppier than most. I reminds me a lot of the IPA I usually brew but I don't have any ready to drink at the moment.

Take a look at this thread.

I brew EdWort's IPA recipe but substitute Columbus hops for the Warrior. (I'm sure it's good with Warrior as well.)

I'm a big Czar fan and looking for a recipe. Any help would be appreciated.

Hop Czar kicks ass. I still really like the original Bridgeport IPA too. With all these new brewery's in town - Bridgeport doesn't get enough love.
