I brewed my second batch a couple days ago, and it included irish moss. I noticed Irish moss is called a clarifier. How exactly does it work? Does it add any flavor to the beer? Also, during the most rigorous part of fermentation, there were a lot of clumps criculating through the beer, something that wasn't present in my first batch. Is that due to the irish moss?
