My first half dozen brews I fermented in a big 10 G bucket. Not an ale pale but a large bucket with a loose fitting lid.

Now i'd like to try and primary in a 6.5 gal carboy but am unsure about pitching my yeast. I have a glass of rehydrated dry yeast.

Just wondering if people go from pot to carboy (using funnel) and then try to pitch the yeast after that? Or do you go pot to pale, pitch, then into the carboy?

thanks
