I'm brewing a IIPA soon and I just want to make sure I've got enough bitterness in this thing. The recipe has 10% corn sugar so I expect it to be at least 8-9% alcohol, which of course adds to the bitterness.
6.3gal at the end of the boil
OG 1.085
2oz highest alpha hop my LHBS has
1oz Citra (13.4%) - 10min
1.5oz Centennial (8.7%) - 10min
1.5oz Amarillo (7.5%) - 0min
1oz Citra - 0min
At flameout, I'll run the whirlpool for 15min before I start the chiller up.
