I'm considering buying a March pump to aid in recirculation and a possible RIMS modification to my setup. Currently, I drain off into a piture at recirculation. Can someone explain how I would set up recirculation/RIMS with a pump. Thanks.
 
It's pretty simple, and for a great explanation check out this thread.

Basically, you pump from the MLT, or BK through the RIMS (which is controlled by a PID to keep the wort at a constant temperature), back into the top of the MLT. The wort is constantly recirculated during the mash.
