Hey all!
I've got the B3 Barleywine extract kit designed for a partial boil, but I've got this great big pot. I figured the way to deal with this would be to do a full boil using the set hop schedule, but bump up the ferementables to try to bring the IBU's in line, and make an even bigger beer! (I'll be countertop partial mashing the grains)
Any thoughts?
12 lbs Light LME
2 lbs Light DME
2 lbs Pale malt
1 lb Caramunich
1 lb Caravienne
1 lb Corn Sugar
2 oz Magnum (16.0 %) 60 Min From End
2 oz Columbus(Tomahawk) (15.5 %) 10 Min From End
2 oz Cascade (4.5 %) Flameout
Yeast
DCL US-05 (formerly US-56) SafAle
As always, any advice or criticism is greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
