hey,

I was just walking down the street and outside of an antique store I saw a demijohn. I went into the store to inquire about it and said he would sell it to me for $20. I told him I would take it and then he told me it had a stainless steel spigot on the bottom. This intrigued me, so I bought it and looked it up online. Sure enough, it is a stainless steel spigot. Now my question is that I only have one pot big enough to do partial boils, can I do two extract boils back to back and just add them to the same demijohn... and if I can would I add half the yeast after my first boil is done and the other half when the second boil is done?

thanks

Sounds good.

I'd do the first brew, cool it. Add it to the demijohn, pitch the yeast.
Do the second brew, cool it then add that to the demijohn.

Some people would just do a high gravity "partial boil" then add water to top up.

(Yours is a better way though)
Can you post a picture of the demijohn (Carboy)
