A friend just gave me a 15.5 gal keg (no clue what frat he could have drunkenly stolen this thing from), and before I just take it to the liquor store and get $30 for the deposit back, what are some ideas as to what I can use this thing for? Thought?

Search for "keggle" and you'll get an idea. also be aware that kegs are legally the property of the brewery yada yada yada so by not returning it you're breaking the law yada yada yada
Legal Disclaimer: return it if you can. Otherwise, turn it into a kettle, MLT, HLT, or fermenter. Better yet, send it to AK and I'll do all the work for ya! (parts not included of course...)

Best kettle you'll ever own. Simple conversion and now you can boil a 10 gallon batch with ease.
