I opened my in-progress keezer today to pull a nice cold pint of IPA and was alarmed to see the floor of the freezer covered in a pool of beer! I initially thought the picnic tap was leaking but it turned out to be the beer line connection (mfl) to the disconnect was a bit loose. Thankfully I caught it before I drained the whole keg. So, lessons learned:

* which of my hoses fits the drain on my freezer
* tighten those connections!
* drink often ( so problems like this get caught early )

Ok, so that was three lessons. Sorry, no pics of the tragedy I was too devastated and panicking to clean up and stop the leak....

You mean, like this? :eek:

A caught the leak at less than a pint lost though...
