Hi All,

I have searched the threads and couldn't find this answer... so here goes:
When I mix my sugar and poor (once cooled) in my bottling bucket, do I need to 'mix' it with the brew, or will it mix itself? I am not sure if only the bottom of the bucket will get the sugar or during the transfer over to the bucket from the tube if that will mix it enough? Thanks in advance for your wonderful words of wisdom!

It's best to dissolve the sugar in boiled water before mixing it. As for whether to stir that into the beer, you'll fine people who say just rack on top of it and those who say to stir. I gently stir to make sure it's evenly distributed without aerating.
