Are you able to get the temperature under 24-25 degrees? That's a touch on the warm side.

I also suggest purchasing brand name yeast for your next brew rather than using the one that comes with the extract.

Other than that enjoy the beer :) I have only done one extract beer and it was a black rock pilsner and it was alright.
 
To be honest, I know I pitch a tad on the warm side, but I have observed these kits and they tend to drop down to 21C and hold steady at that temp until primary is done.
I like to start them warm because I find it shortens the respiration phase a bit.
I know that this is not the ideal situation, but 8 extract kits in, I have yet to brew something I haven't enjoyed!
I usually give an extra week in primary to allow the yeast a chance to clean up any esters or phenols
