Just a quiet lazy Sunday

I've never tried this particular brand of extract kit before. Not as user friendly as Coopers, and the yeast package seemed kinda sketchy, but it's perking already!

Are you able to get the temperature under 24-25 degrees? That's a touch on the warm side.

I also suggest purchasing brand name yeast for your next brew rather than using the one that comes with the extract.

Other than that enjoy the beer I have only done one extract beer and it was a black rock pilsner and it was alright.

To be honest, I know I pitch a tad on the warm side, but I have observed these kits and they tend to drop down to 21C and hold steady at that temp until primary is done.
I like to start them warm because I find it shortens the respiration phase a bit.
I know that this is not the ideal situation, but 8 extract kits in, I have yet to brew something I haven't enjoyed!
I usually give an extra week in primary to allow the yeast a chance to clean up any esters or phenols
