well me and a buddy brewed yesterday and here is what we came up with, porter like beer, and am going to add some blackberrys after fermentation, pitched the yeast at 7:15cst last night @72 degrees had a good outcome as of 8:00am this morning, first time ive had wyeast 1056 jump off that fast. should be an awesome beer when done... I have a grain bill ille add in a little bit

Grain bill
1/2 lb carapils
1/2 lb chocolate malt
1/3 lb vienna
1/3 lb crystal 40L
1/4 lb roasted barley
5 lbs breiss golden light DME
steeped at 160 Degrees for 45mins
bring to boil and add 5lbs of DME
shut flame out and add 1oz fuggle bring back to boil for 10 mins
then add 1oz fuggle again and boil for 50mins
at 60 minutes total boil time add 1oz kentgolding and boil for 10 mins flame out
pitched wyeast 1056 @ 72 degrees
