Ok so I took a stab at putting together my first recipe after looking at a few online that sounded interesting. Would love some feedback as I kind of just winged it. Its an partial boil extract w/ specialty grains.

#5 DME
#1.33 American 2-row
8 oz Crystal 40L
4 oz special B
4 oz Honey Malt
4 oz Cara pils
4 oz Black Barley

1 oz 4.5% AA Kent Goldings
1 oz 4.2% AA Fugels

.5 oz cinnamon sticks (cracked)
.5 oz bitter orange peel (cracked)
1 tbsp ground ginger

1 vial WLP005

Stepped all of the grains for 45 min at 160 in 3 gallons of h2o.

Added all of the DME at about 200 degrees and then put the spurs too it.
The Goldings went in at the 60 min mark.
The rest of the hops and spices at the 15 min mark.

Cooled everything down and topped off with ~2 gallons of water and then pitched the yeast (strip on the side of the bucket read 68 degrees).

I was thinking about a tsp of nutmeg in secondary, but wanted some feed back before I do. Mostly wondering if the grain bill was too much or if anything was unneeded. Also did I over do it with the spices?

Thanks for any feedback
