I was at a local propane and bbq store and spotted an 11 and 9 gallon SS steel pot with a spigot. for $120 and $99 Respectively.
I got the 11 gal took a closer look at the cheep brass chrome coated spigot and realized I needed another one. The thing is that it's port is 1 inch (Welded).
I decided in buying a 1in to half inch ss bushing then use that to install a half inch ss valve. The busing I had to order from amazon. Now I'm waiting for christmas so I can open the sightglass/temp combo my wife ordered from Bobby (brewhardware.com) that she doesn't know I know she ordered. I'll post pics of that install when i do it.
I do 5 gal batches and figure if I move to 10 I could still use this pot for a Hot Liquor tank.
