Does anyone rack into their kegs early to secondary and carb? Was just wondering if anyone does and if they've had any success and consistency with this process.
I've never racked over early enough for the initial fermentation to create carbonation but I have racked after fermentation to a keg with priming sugar and let that carb at room temp. Takes longer than straight gas but the result was just as good.
I don't do secondary. I just do 3 weeks in primary, then rack straight to keg and "secondary" while it simultaneously cools, clears, and carbs. 2 weeks later, clear, delicious, perfectly-carbed beer.
