Dry hoppin?

So for my Gonzo IPA the guy at my LHBS and I decided we want to do a lot of dry hopping. The only dry hopping I've done before was with whole leaf. For this I'm using Simcoe and another hop vareinty that's really hard to find in whole leaf. As such I'm using hop pellets for a portion of my dry hopping. Is this alright? Whats the best procedure for this? Do I really need to put the hop in a vessle of some kind? I'm really under a time constraint. Thanks!

The simple answer - pellets are fine, they'll break up and float on top of the beer.
