So after waiting a while to keg I was finally ready to force carb my beer last night. I hooked up the tank and regulator and turned the knob, and air starting shooting out between the regulator and tank. Tried several times to disconnect and reconnect and had the same problem. I did everything right (including putting the little washer between tank and regulator) so I don't know what's wrong. All the equipment was purchased brand new from my LHBS. Can anyone help?

replace the nylon washer between the tank and regulator stem.

take it to the LHBS and show them if it still leaks.

tried the teflon tape. now nothing is happening. no air is coming out but the regulator is reading that no gas is coming through. i am thinking that i might have a broken regulator. but i dont know how because everything is brand new. do you guys have any idea what is going on?
