i did an extract version of northern brewers inkeeper.
i only have a 4 gallon pot so thats what i boiled then topped it up with boughten spring water.
i used a late addition on the LME (15 mins b4 end of boil) to avoid carmeliztion of it and to increase my hops utilization to compensate for the smaller boil.
i did the numbers and the late addition of the LME made up for the loss of IBU's to the smaller boil volume
OG was 1.041
pitched a healthy starter of nottingham
3 hour lag time!!!!!!
fermented in the mid 60's for 14 days
fg-1.006
slightly dry, nice noticed hop flavor and aroma
reminded me of Hazed and Confused beer
primed with 3 oz corn sugar
bottle conditioned 3 weeks mid 60's temp( highest i could get in an old farm house during a pennsylvannia winter with $3.80/gallon oil) :(

taste is slightly sweet.
i will drink but not worthy of sharing.
any input will be greatly appreciated

might not be 'fully' carbed yet...residual corn sugar could still be present

if it tasted good at bottling, before addition of priming sugar, i'd leave it set to finish up. at mid 60's, it will probably take more time than 3 weeks
