So I'm still waiting to taste my first batch of homebrew which is bottle conditioning right now, but I want to develop a recipe that highlights the flavors of apple cider and cinnamon donuts that my family would always buy growing up. So imparting apple flavor into beer is simple enough, and cinnamon as well, but how can I get a donut flavor into a batch of beer? I'll probably go with a less hoppy pale ale as a base, just looking some ideas on getting those flavors into it.
 
Search for "Graff"

Use biscuit and fairly dark crystal as the steeping grains. Thats where I would start.
