Organic Hops Rule and a couple of photos

Well great news for both Organic Beer Drinkers and Organic Hop Growers on Oct.28 th the National Organic Standards Board voted to make Organic Hops a requirement in Organic Beer as of January 1 2013

Lot of work to be done between now and spring to get the Cascade yard looking like this again. Its 26 Degrees the wood stove is going and the beer is cold. We will be selling Rhizomes again.I am working on editing the backyard brewing series. Cheers Glen

So, you're telling me that up until now, if I bought organic beer, the hops were not necessarily organic? That's just weird, but not surprising...
