pale ale in secondary, should I add fruit?

put pale ale in secondary Saturday the 7th. Was thinking about just a little fruit, for aroma as much as taste, about 1-1.5 lb. if I add it now, it will restart yeast, no? and would that be bad? thinking blueberries or cherries, just pop open can pour in..
any suggestions welcome.

Don't fruit your beer!


Yeah, it may start fermenting again. alot of sugars in fruit. Beyond that i dont see a problem with adding the fruit.

Unless it's Mexican, then lime wedges are OK to keep the flies out of the bottle.:D
