Is it possible to effectively pitch fresh wort on a yeast cake from a corny keg after the corny has been tapped and its contents drank? Or does the co2 kill the yeast? Have you done it?

Any yeast that falls out in the corny keg is going to be the least flocculent yeast of the bunch. That trait will tend to be passed on to later generations if you reuse the yeast. So you end up with a yeast that doesn't want to settle out in the fermenter.
