I harvested my 3787 Trappist from my Patersbier - Northern Brewer extract Kit. What would you brew for this yeast in extract or partial mash? I do not have full grain equipment yet. It could be a kit or something custom. I have only done extract so far. Irish Red Ale, Patersbier and Extra Pale Ale. Since I have 3 brews in the queue something that takes a little longer to finish might fit in well.
Thanks in advance for any ideas

Do you like Belgian beers? Westmalle uses that yeast, you could try their tripel or dubbel and see if you like it. It's available at some supermarkets where I live.

A basic tripel recipe would go something like:

9 lbs pilsner LME
2 lbs corn sugar
.25 lbs aromatic
1.5 oz brewer's gold @ 60 mins
1 oz saaz @ 5 mins

belgian blonde, dubbel, tripel, & quad all work well with that yeast, as well as imperial stouts and barleywines

Follow up:

I created a recipe from a recipe I found on Hopville.com and a Northern Brewer extract kit. It is a Belgian Dubbel. I made a starter and brewed one evening. By the next morning krausen was burping through my blow off tube. 5-6 more weeks....

Any Belgian style pretty much with that strain. It is a wonderful strain. Make it big though to fully utilize your harvest!
