noticed if you look at my auto siphom in the light looks like there are lots of little cracks in the plastic will it be safe to use or risk infection use star san and oxy to clean and san maybe responsible for cracks

It'll be fine. The plastic used to make them seems pretty bad. If you use hot water to wash it, then it'll eventually crack. I go through about 2-3 of them every year. I'm not too worried about the money since it saves me so much hassle.
