I just bought a used corny keg from keg connection for my new brew. I put 5 tbsp of Easy Clean in the 5 gallon keg, shook it around and dropped all the fittings in to clean them up.

Is this ok to leave overnight or will Easy Clean pit the keg? Is the keg aluminum or steel? Magnets don't stick so I assume its aluminum.

Thanks!

Tim

The corny kegs are stainless steel and easy clean will not harm them. You do want to avoid using bleach on stainless as it will pit the metal, but the easy clean stuff does not contain chlorine so you are good to go. Five Tbs is a lot. You probably don't need to use that much unless the keg is unusually cruddy or something.
