Just had my first all grain experience this weekend and have to say it went well. I did have a question about mahout though. I mashed at 150• and mahout called for 170• over 10 minutes. I'm not sure I did it run as I ran 170• water through over a 10 minute period........I never had it properly explained to me. What is the correct mahout procedure. I use a 10 gallon round igloo cooler. Any advice would be most appreciated! Thank you!
