I have a Corona-style drill. I think it's actually a Victoria. It works well enough by hand, but my drill smokes when I use it to mill. I tried getting a corded Black & Decker with 7 amps and a low speed, but it also smoked.

I'd like to know what drills folks have successfully used specifically on a Corona-style mill. I've seen some posts out there on various forums, but it's never clear to me of they were used on a roller mill or Corona.

Thanks!

I use the $99 18v Porter cable cordless. It uses about 1.5 batteries per recipe, and works really well. I've used it for about 20 batches, but my buddy has a corded dewalt with a handle on the side that chews through it without slowing down

I use a really old craftsman corded drill my friend had lying around.
