This is my first attempt at my own recipe, let me know what you think.

I am going for a balanced beer, OG around 1.070, IBU around 35.

It is an extract with specialty grain, 5 gal
Ingredients:
1 lb American 2 row
1 lb German Pilsner
6 lb LME
3 lb DME

For hops I'm thinking about Mt. Hood 1 oz at 60, 1oz at 30,
Hallataur 1 oz 45, 1 oz 15. Beerrecipator and my calculations are not getting my desired bitterness....what would all of you conditioned brewers suggest?

As for the yeast, something basic, probably California Ale
