1970's era bottles OK for capping?

Take your capper and a few lids along and make sure there's enough of a lip for it to grip ahold of. As long as there is, you're golden.
 
That is a lot to pay for a standard bottle- if they were flip-tops that is another story. Considering you can get bottles for free from bars, recyclers, friends/family... for 200 bottles like that I would pay $50 tops, and only because they are "odd" and would make for a bit of conversation.

x2 on xakk on whether they should work. A wing capper might not as it looks as though there is a secondary "lip" that might interfere.
