Thanks for the tip, I'll check them out! I almost looked through the glassware collection at the goodwill while halloween costume shopping, but something about buying second hand glassware felt weird to me.
Second hand anything feels weird to me. I have issues.
Is it just me or does all second hand glasswear look more faded than the glasses I have owned for 10 years?

I find most of my glasses at thrift stores. Nothing wrong with any of them. Tulips, standard pints, even a couple of chimay glasses.

Good to know! Does this apply to liquid detergent too?
I put my heavy glass beer mugs in the dish washer all the time. They come out crystal clear and we don't use anything but Cascade liquid.
I love thrift stores and antique stores for beer glass hunting...have also scored on carboys at antique stores.

Great now im paranoid about my cheap 2 gallon fermenters i got at a Pamida that ive been using.Pretty certain they were from China.
