So I collected my wort, then something came up, so I covered it with foil in the BK. That was last night. Going to boil chill and pitch today. Never done this before but I can see it becoming a regular thing. Anyone ever do this or have issues with it?
 
I split my brew days sometimes. I start my brewing late evening and do everything to mash out. I bring the wort to a boil, cover it, shut it all down and go to bed. I'm the morning I finish.
 
I've done this a couple of a times and the beer turned out fine, don't think it made any difference in terms of flavor.
