Hello,
I just brewed an Octoberfest Ale using White Labs Cry Havoc Yeast. Pitched at 70 degrees and Fermented at 65. I want to brew the same beer again but as a lager. Can I pitch on the yeast cake and still get a good beer? Do I need to add more yeast for the longer lagering time? Or should I just wash the yeast and save it for another ale?
