I find something ironic with the fact that I am using a bad batch of homebrew to kill the slugs eating my hop plants. I have 5 gallons of slightly off HB kegged in my fridge. It is my late night, last call beer. I just can't throw it away and it is not a good brew to start the night. Thanks to this forum I found an alternative use for the batch. I have set beer traps around my recently planted rhizomes. It is a win win win situation. I get rid of a bad batch, the hop plants are no longer attacked, and the slugs have one heck of a fling for their last night.
