A week or so ago I read a thread from a guy who was using a tool that pushed out the side wall of the pots he was welding NPT fittings into (I think it was a two part tool that screwed into intself, conforming the steel into a dish like shape), like "out-denting" them to make the welding easier and look cooler. Have searched for a couple hours now and can't find the thread.
