Do you ever have one of those nights where you’re just not sure what kind of beer you’re in the mood for?

First we start with a sampling….

…and people wonder why I brew so much… ;)

Then we move on some larger glasses…
Sorry about smudging an otherwise beautiful beer glass…wanted to keep it “work safe”.

Eventually, once I’m done puttering around in the brewshop, I’ll pull a full pint of something and head upstairs to be with the SWMBO…

“Only one beer tonight?” she’ll ask…

uh huh… ;)

*drools* I am muchly jealous. :)

This is another push towards getting a house instead of a tiny tiny apartment. Anybody wanna sell me a house for a dollar? I'll go as high as five, but that's it!!

That's awesome, BM. Love the setup, and love the variety!

Maybe I'll have to have you help me inaugurate mine too, once it's built!

Dang, I gotta put that fifth faucet on. What the hell made me think that the 5th keg would ALWAYS be in some stage of lagering or cold conditioning. More often than not, it's ready to drink before the previous four kegs are kicked.. Oh well, another perlick and shank is just a phone call away, better get to getting.

Looks like you stole the old man's vintage beer glasses, or found a nice ebay deal.
What are those, circa 1970's?

Man, you must brew ALL THE TIME to keep 7 taps flowing

That's what I keep thinking. I'm feeling the pressure just to keep TWO taps provided with properly conditioned beer. It doesn't take too many billiards nights with friends to wipe out several kegs. I've got 10 gallons in primary, 15 gallons cold-conditioning in kegs, but only about 4 gallons available to serve. Gotta feed the two-headed beast! (Can't imagine having to feed the seven-headed one...)

When you think about it, he doesn't have to do any more work than anyone else once he builds up the stock. If you've got 7 good beers flowing, consumption doesn't really change.

I have 4 faucets and I always have more kegs on deck. The trick is, you don't THINK about brewing when a keg is about to kick. That's why you need at least 50% more kegs than faucets.

I suspect giving out samples at a shop is illegal in Oregon (we have some really oppressive laws), none of the places I've been to do it. The Oak Barrel in Berkeley always had a few on tap.
