I see alot of recipes made by BYO and i was wondering if anyone has ever tried them? If so how spot on are they? do they nail it on the head, kinda close, or does it depend on brew to brew? I would think it being one of the most popular mag they would get it spot on but who knows.

Sounds like you're talking about the clones, yes? In which case I haven't made any of yet, but I've certainly kept a record of many of them. I have brewed other recipes featured in BYO as given by head brewers or homebrewers and have had success with those. Just brewed a 60/- yesterday in fact that was a BYO recipe.
