What's the big deal (besides price) that separates your stainless & plastic fermenters?

Just perusing ebay...I noticed I can get a 15g plastic for the same price as a 7.3 stainless...

Durability. And Price.

Obviously stainless will not scratch deep like plastic, etc. HOT won't damage stainless. Cleans out a little easier too.

SS will always sanitize.....plastic, being able to scratch could potentially collect bateria in the scratches.......

SS is MUCH better.......

just switched over to using 1/2 bbls for fermentation and will never go back to plastic buckets.......
