I am upgrading to 15 gallon stainless conicals and I am kind of torn right now between building a ferm chamber using an air conditioner or just using a freezer. I would like to be able to have at least two conicals going at once. That would mean two freezers and If i wanted to expand, more freezers. I still plan on having one freezer set up for laugering. I will be fermenting in my garage which has summer temps of around 115 F. would an air conditioner based ferm chamber even work at those temps?

That is what I am planning on building in a few days. I found a cheap AC at home depot. To make sure the temperature is easily maintained, I plan on putting 2" thick isolation foam covered with reflective material inside the chamber.

Good luck.
