Let's get this out of the way immediately. Yes, I am a dope. :ban:

I bought a kit from AHS a couple months ago and haven't gotten around to brewing it yet. Opened it up today and realized I never took the liquid yeast out and put it in the fridge. What are the chances of anything being alive in the vial? Would it even be worth making a starter to see if anythng happens? Storage temps were 65-75 degrees.

smack it and see if it swells. probably will be fine, might take a few days to swell, though. if it puffs up, make a hefty starter with it and BREW!

EDIT: i guess you have a white labs vial. smacking that will just hurt your hand. pitch it in a starter and see what happens.
