I just wanted to share my recent discovery of Ozarka stackable 3-liter jugs. I get them at walgreens or Kroger. They are practically custom-made for SOFC because they stack up like a giant ice-slug, and they fit perfectly. They are also made out of tough PET so they never ever break. By stacking 6 of these my SOFC goes a good 5 days without needing any attention.

How tall are these ? I've been using apple juice (3qt) containers and 1.4gal bleach containers.

Looks like that would work well. I was thinking about building a son of a fermentation chamber, but haven't done it yet. I was thinking about using empty LME containers, any reason why those wouldn't work?

Any container will work, but weak ones break quickly from the stress. Bleach jugs are ok; that's what I used before, but they don't stack up very well, and I don't think you can get quite as much ice in the SOFC as you can with the ozarka bottles.

I just picked up some Pland Springs water that came in the same container. Perrfect for stacking in a SOF chamber.

Good find.
