I brewed tonight and THOUGHT I had all of the ingredients I needed. 12 pound grain bill calling for 8 ounces of roasted barley. I had everything mixed and discovered I only had 6 ounces of roasted barley. will there be a MAJOR difference in the finished product?
 
Major difference? Probably not. Just not as dark as it would have otherwise been. Not talking about a major shift though. Flavor from the roasted barley will be a bit more mild, which can be a good thing actually.

Was it 12# total, or 12# base malt, plus the roasted barley?
