I just received my Stout 9.2 gal. BK, and I couldn't be more psyched about it! Probably won't get to use it till next week due to time, but hey it happens.

One question for anyone who has used one. As we know the outside bottom is a bit different then other pots. Has anyone used it on a glass top stove. I have done 6-7 gal boils on my stove, so it can hold the weight, but this pot is a bit different.

Either way, just got a Barley Crusher too. So really happy to be able to cruch freshly, and do a proper sparge/lauter, then boil! :rockin:

I think you will be very disappointed with that kettle on a flat top as it's designed for direct firing, and the cook top is designed for conduction heating.

At best you have some air gap between the heating surface preventing a lot of the conduction.
