What are Golden Naked Oats? Is it a brand name?

I'm not sure if the golden is a brand name or a trade name. Any naked oats, or probably any kind of oats you could find would work. Being a steeped grain, you really don't get any fermentables out of the oats, It is just the proteins that aid in head retention and "mouthfeel". I have gotten the golden naked oats from midwest, so I know they are available there.

Can you get some fermentables out of steeped grains if you add enzymes to the mash?
