I'm just looking for some feedback on this recipe I'm planning. It's a 5 litre (1.3 gallons) batch and 15 min boil.

--------------------------
600g(21oz) Light DME
200g(7oz) Carafa Special III
100g(3.5oz) Wheat Malt

20g(0.7oz) Nugget hops @ 15 mins

WLP004 yeast

Will rack onto 1 lb of black cherries for secondary fermentation
--------------------------

Can anyone see any problems/improvements to be made?

The stats I got from beertools are below:

Original Gravity: 1.055
Terminal Gravity: 1.011
Color: 35.34 SRM
Bitterness: 38.3 IBU
Alcohol (%volume): 5.7 %

You have a generic dark ale. You need some roasted barley but not as much as you would for a dry stout. Sub in some chocolate malt in the place of the reduced roasted it barley. That will give you the color and roasted flavor without being too acrid.
