ok i just received my co2 distributor. but being the ars i am i ordered it with 1/4" barb fittings istead of 5/16". i also purchased tubing to fit a 5/16" barb. could i still use the tubing i have on the 1/4" barb with hose clamps of course? or should i just go to the LHBS and purchase the proper size tubing and if so what size tubing should i get?

for the amount that tubing costs (.30 cents/ foot) I would just buy the right stuff. You'll be out of pocket about $3.25 when its all said and done.

I use 5/16 tube for 1/4" barbs all the time, use a quality hose clamp and you will be fine.
To be sure, use a soapy sponge or star san to check for leaks.
or buy new tube

ahh ok good deal. saves a trip to the LHBS i always end up buying about $100worth of stuff evertime i walk in to the place with stuff that i "need":D the lady of the house doesn't agree so much.
