Im getting ready to plumb my Sabco. Im going to use a bazooka tube and have it so I can unscrew at the coupler for cleaning. I was thinking about making the connection out of copper tube, and silver solder the joints.

The silver solder wont be affected by the boiling wort will it? What about the flux?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it won't hurt. At least I hope not, because I'm getting ready to do the same thing. 212 degree wort is a lot cooler than the flame of a torch, and that doesn't melt solder instantly.

Silver solder is fine. Just wire brush off any flux that didn't burn away. I just keep the joint hot until it stops smoking.
