Surfman Dude,

I have been brewing for 16 years and have just discovered Apfelwein.
I haven't brewed any yet, or tasted any either,
but the first 'supply run' of the cool weather brewing season,
will find me at 'Homebrew Headquarters' buying,
not only 55 Lbs of DME and my speciality grains for 'the months 35 gallons'
but 4 new carbouys.
The four 5 galloners will be devoted to Apfelwein production.

I will brew enough Apfelwein this winter
to float the 'old Harpoon' boat.
I haven't tasted any yet as I said and I don't know how I have managed to overlook it all these years, but I hear it tastes good and with a couple of cans of concentrate the brewer can make it as high of alcohol percentage as he wants.

Sounds good to me.

Its cool enough to brew now!
dern,
and my October disability check is earmarked for poultry coop construction.
{The poultry has to have new housing.}
Mabey the poultry, the 'Rhode Island Reds',
will be ready for market before then.
They are starting to lay and with cooler weather
people will be outside more and thinking about
'getting some chickens'.

I hear it is dry and has the flavor of apples.
Amazing, no cooking, no cooling, I'll carbinate some and not carbinate some... and experiment with the flavors but the original
'sounds good to me.'

Just rambling my ankle is out and hurts like hxxx.

Today I sit

Luck and later
