I am brewing in about 24 hours and am on the fece with a few things.
10ltr batch
4lb MO(91%)
90gr each of UK crystal 120 and crystal wheat(4.5% each).
I was going to hop thus:
20gr Styrian C@60
36gr@20
Yeast Notty

I was thinking of using the @60 for flame out or dry hop and subbing with some old Fuggles currently at 2.5%AA.

Was also thinking of subbing some crystal for pale chocolate.

And I also could go with Funktown Pale ale or S-04.

What say you blokes?
Cheers

I like styrians in bitters, especially in the summer, Id add a flame out addition of styrians (or a small dry hop) if you got them.

Id just leave the crystal, If you use pale chocolate, id keep it in the 0.5%-1% range, in that range it can add just a dry finish, but I wouldnt want much noticeable roast or chocolate flavor.

@giraffe,that is what I was thinking : just a tad of chocolate

Half way into the boil.
Went with old Northern Brewer@60.
Going 40gr of Styrian@20 and the rest at flame out.
Now just have to decide upon the yeast.
Going to sleep on it and pitch in the morning(it's quarter to ten at night here).

So,I was going to go with Funktown, but forgot to lable st slurry.
So I went with good old Notty.
OG 1.040
Pitched at 16c,fermenting at 17.5c

Oh
And
I had three litres too many, terrible accident!
So that got hit with Brett. Cust.
